We are two (now three!) people who happened to meet while in costume, and then found out that we made an awesome pair- and an awesome cosplay team! Mario is awesome at making armor and weapons, while I specialize in wigs and accessories, and we’re both learning to sew.
Dino, Mario’s brother, recently joined the Arms, Armor, and Awesome group after he made his first costume for BlizzCon 2015!
We do take commissions, and try to work with all budgets. Feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions about commissions.
When we aren’t making costumes, Mario plays around with one of his many other hobbies, including video games (lots and lots of World of Warcraft), Warhammer 40k, reading Star Wars novels (and collecting them, apparently), and D&D.
Alice reads, sews, and also plays WoW and D&D, as well as taking care of adorable bunny rabbits.
We started Arms, Armor and Awesome cosplay because we felt we had learned a lot of things that we wanted to share with our fellow cosplayers, and wanted to help others with their costume making endeavors.

i like your blog so much, can we become blog friends?
I’m just getting into cosplay and haven’t used this site before, so sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question… but…. how much would you charge for a dark lady/queen serenity wig (not 100% which one yet) ? i can handle the sewing but this wig stuff has me @@ thanks in advance! ps… just delete this post if it looks silly on your page… lol sorry for being such a newb ><
It’s fine, I don’t remember if we have our blog email anywhere on here but that’s generally a good way to get into contact, as well as commenting :) Queen Serenity would be around $150, not sure on dark lady, I don’t think I’m familiar with the character. You can email us at tripleacosplay at gmail dot come if you like :)
Though, we aren’t available for commissions until after October, so if you need it before the end of November, we’re unavailable :(
Hello guys! Keep working on this greatest hobby! ^_^
I wish I can cosplay in group with both of you, someday! :)
Do you do commissions of original designs?
It depends, but mostly we only do prop or wig commissions, not full costumes. So, depending on the design, we might do a commission of an original design.
I have a quick question, if you don’t mind!! I’ve seen your cosplays (which are amazing, by the way) and was wondering what sort of products I should use to construct a costume for Lady Sif, from Thor. By products, I mean what should I use for her armor, undergarments, skirt, sword/shield, etc. Thank you, it means so much!
(I don’t know if this went through the first time, so if it’s posted twice I apologize!) I have a quick question, if you don’t mind!! It really depends on what your skill level is, and what you’re used to working with. For the armor, I suggest EVA foam (there are some good books here: http://punishedprops.com/shop/foamsmith_trilogy/) and the sword and shield could be made out of foam covered with epsilon, or out of wood, or you could find someone who sells the sword blank (such as CoreGeek https://www.etsy.com/listing/197719601/lady-sif-prop-sword-for-cosplay?ref=sr_gallery_2&ga_search_query=sif+sword&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery)
Hello! I am fairly new to cosplay, and I’m cosplaying for my school’s cosplay competition. I am going to be a pretty Prince Gumball, but I just don’t know what right brands of face paint and contouring material to look for! Please help me!!
Hi! We actually made a three part video series about body paint, so it should answer a lot of your questions! The first one is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nza1YJnHm4s and you will find the rest on our channel. I’m sure that you’ll be able to do some amazing face paint for Prince Gumball!
